Meet the Founder Tracy Needham launched her business in 2003 after more than a decade in marketing communications—the majority of which was spent in the financial services industry. Her last job in the corporate world was creating and managing the competitive affairs function at a mutual fund company in Writing and editing seem to be in her blood. In sixth grade, she won a local writing competition with a semi-biographical short story. Her first published article was originally written as a graduate school assignment. Entitled “From Graduation to a Job on Capitol Hill,” it was published by Cosmopolitan magazine in 1995. She received an M.S. in Public Relations from Boston University College of Communication in 2003 and a B.A. in International Relations from the She currently serves on the board of Greater Raleigh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners as Communications Committee Chair. Other memberships include the North Carolina Sustainability Council, Coop American Business Network, International Association of Business Communicators, American Marketing Association, Triangle Business Leaders, and National Trust for Historic Preservation.
